About this project
A square plot with roads on three sides in a central business district with a mix of architectural expressions. A spare, rising monolith in the urban visual clutter. Protected from solar heat gains on the south-west side by a large concrete plane. A clean box for office space is animated by a turned grid of four concrete planes that generates a clear formal expression for the building. Located in a dense urban patch, the simplicity and boldness of the tower stands in negation to the visual clutter around. A unique pattern of glass panels is echoed in a similar pattern in the formwork of the concrete. A stone base holds the entire composition. A gleaming tower rising 300 feet above city's epicenter of commerce, communication, and education. Strategically located between Mohakhali Flyover abd Gulshan 1, access to every other part of the city is as easy as it gets.
